Yard Arrangements:
Lakeside Property Services will provide prompt
service to all clients. In order to accomplish this we need
the cooperation of our entire client list to do their best
to remove items that may interfere with our machines and personnel.
Debris and lawn furniture may seem insignificant to you, but
proper clean-up of these items ensures quick and effective
service on our behalf.
We will do our best to move items but unfortunately
if the problem persists, we will charge a small fee at months
end for delaying our other clients. A little help on your
end and everyone wins.
Please also advise us of any subsurface obstacles
(ex. Low voltage wiring and sprinkler systems), so we can
avoid delays and damage.
Pet Owners:
Please
Pick up after your
animals. Cleaning your animals' waste off our machines and
boots is not a favorable job for us or anyone. We understand
the odd dumpling but unfortunately excessive waste will result
in additional charges to your bill come months end. For those
of you that leave your pets out during the day, please put
them inside during scheduled service days for their safety.
We are pet lovers too but the loud machines may scare them
or cause them unwanted stress.
Scheduled Service Days:
We at Lakeside Property Services will do our
very best to cut your lawn weekly, (every 7 days). We cut
our lawns based on a route and start from one end until we
reach our last area. Don't take offense if you are at the
end it is just logistically better to run our business this
way. We usually do our mowing services from Tuesday through
Thursday; however weather delays, road closures and/or personal
requests may change this. Please be aware schedule changes
may occur.
Grass Length and Dry Weather:
We use the One Third Rule: Never remove more than 1/3rd
of the grass blade when we mow.
Your lawn cutting contract is based on weekly
cutting and we understand that every lawn is different. Some
grow faster than others based on area, maintenance, watering
and weather conditions. If your lawn grows more than 4"
between mowings', we may have to increase the frequency of
cuts to compensate this. Usually this is in the spring from
April through May. Please call us if the grass length is looking
a little high. It is virtually impossible for us to predict
your lawn's height. If you don't notify us and we show up
on your scheduled service day finding the lawn extremely high,
additional charges may apply
(Double the quoted cut
price and disposal fees). The reason for this is because it
may require two passes to minimize damage to our machines
and to avoid leaving excessive grass clippings on your lawn.
This essentially doubles the time needed to cut your lawn,
which delays our other clients. Your lawn is a reflection
of our company. We want it too look as best as we can, so
if it looks unkempt, we feel this is a direct reflection of
our company and we feel that this is the very reason why you
hired us in the first place.
When dry weather or lawns that are not watered
create short grass length. We will do our best to keep your
lawn looking as healthy as we can, however due to lack of
watering, city restrictions or dry summers the lawn may become
brown and require less maintenance. We will do our best to
keep an eye on this as well. We are in the business of making
you happy and Lakeside Property Services will do our best
to determine whether your lawn needs cutting or not. If your
lawn has not grown or is very dry we have no problem leaving
it until the following week or until the lawn starts to grow
again. If you feel that the lawn does not need mowing due
to dry weather please advise us at least 2 days in advance.
Every customer has a personal preference and therefore it
is hard for us to know unless you tell us. Of course if we
skip your lawn because we feel that it is too short and you
would like it cut, please call us and we will be happy to
come back to mow your lawn.
Delays due to Weather:
Weather is unpredictable and we are always concerned
with this. We will do our best to provide our service around
the weather. This may change the scheduled day of service
forward or back a day or two to accommodate thunderstorms
or severe weather conditions. We base our decision by looking
at the forecast that morning on the Weather Network or the
old conventional method
looking out the window.
Delays by Customers:
Please let us know if you are having work done
on your property that may interfere with us doing our job.
We care about our safety and if we show up on your schedule
day of service and find that we are delayed or unable to service
your property due to miscommunication, you will be billed
for the service call regardless if the lawn was cut or not.
To avoid this just call us to prevent any unnecessary charges
on your bill. Please notify us by phone or email
if you are having any work done to your house or property.
Maintenance Plans:
Lakeside Property Services will perform extra
maintenance plans (Bronze
Platinum (THE PRO CHOICE)) as well as other
services as time allows. Sometimes the services may be done
while we are there mowing or later on that week or month depending
on the package.
